Optimum Vineyard is an experienced and reactive team:
Coming from a business family, Stéphane began his career in the United States and Switzerland before settling in Bordeaux as head of a Producers' Union in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, then went on to manage various wine estates over the past 25 years, producing his own wines in Saint-Emilion. Approached by investors to assess their wine estates, he decided to take the Masters Course in Wine Estate Management at Bordeaux Agricultural Sciences College, then founded Optimum Vineyard in 2013. Sharing an Anglo-Saxon background and fully bilingual in English and French, he is your ideal contact regardless of your nationality.
For some ten years Aurore held numerous executive positions, heading up sociocultural operations while running her own family business with her husband, before deciding to turn her passion for wine into her main activity. In 2012 she earned an Introductory Degree in Oenology, then in 2013 joined Optimum Vineyard where she now heads up administration and finance across all estates as well as audits.
After ten years as a management controller at two major groups, Mario changed direction in 2014 and settled with his wife in Bordeaux where he took a Master's course in Wine Estate Management at Bordeaux Agricultural Sciences College. As part of his final year he was taken on for work experience at Optimum Vineyard, which he then joined full-time in 2016.
After earning a Master of Law degree, Nathalie spent ten years in the retail industry where she developed her love of wines. She then decided to take the next step and devote herself exclusively to the wine industry. With an Advanced Agricultural Technician Certificate in Winemaking and a National Oenology Diploma, she worked in a range of wineries including Entre-Deux-Mers at Pierre Lurton and as Cellar Master for Saint-Emilion Grand Cru and Grand Cru Classé, before joining Optimum Vineyard in 2016
Bruno has over 25 years' professional experience at renowned estates with Appellations such as Médoc, Bergerac, Graves, Castillon, Sauternes and Entre-deux-Mers. During that time, he held various positions of responsibility, from cultivation manager to cellar manager and technical director. In 2013, he helped set up Optimum Vineyard by joining Stéphane Apelbaum as head of ``audits and technical management`` for the estates. He has a Master’s Degree in Wine Estate Management from Bordeaux Agricultural Sciences College.
